Endermologie

Definition. Cellulite occurs when fat cells protrude from around the connective tissue that attaches skin to muscle-and tends to develop in almost 90% of women at some point. Before Endermologie, cellulite treatments generally met with mixed reactions: many people swear by creams and special diets, while doctors insisted that those products do not produce actual results. The latest craze in cellulite treatment is Endermologie, the brand name for a type of roller massage therapy that has been clinically proven to reduce and even erase the signs of cellulite. Endermologie uses mechanical roller and regulated suction to create symmetrical skin folds, temporarily stimulating circulation to the area. Endermologie is a  procedure, developed by LPG, using the Cellu M6 Keymodule machine, to temporarily, yet effectively reduce the appearance of cellulite and circumferential body measurements of treated areas. The Keymodule’s small hand-held, motorised treatment head with specially designed rollers performs the Endermologie treatment. By gently lifting and rolling the skin the Cellu M6 Keymodule stimulates the venous and lymphatic systems thereby eliminating toxins. Fiboblasts are stimulated to the increase collagen and elastin production generating a healthier rejuventated skin tone. The treatment also smoothes the surface of the skin by softening the connective tissue, that anchors the skin, causing the dimples of cellulite.

Is it right for me? It is not for pregnant women, or people taking blood thinners, people with circulatory or vascular disease, active cancer, and also with infectious progressive diseases, and AIDS.

Advantages. It is a non-invasive, relaxing treatment that involves no medical procedures or use of any chemical substances, creams or gels.  ENDERMOLOGIE treatments are non-invasive and improve the health of connective tissue. Liposuction is an invasive surgical procedure aimed at removing deep fat tissue from an area. Doctors often recommend ENDERMOLOGIE treatments in conjunction with liposuction to minimise the trauma cause by the scaring and inflammation of the procedure and to improve the health of the tissue.

Disadvantages. The only negative side effect possible is minor bruising for individuals with very sensitive skin. However there are numerous positive side effects, such as relieving muscle soreness, fading of stretch marks and scar tissue, feeling rejuvenated, and relaxed.

Results. Each Endermologie treatment lasts 30 to 45 minutes, and patients typically need dozen or more treatments for visible results. After the desired effect is achieved, the patient will need to maintain the effects of the cellulite treatment with additional Endermologie sessions at less frequent intervals. Because this cellulite treatment addresses only the appearance of cellulite, and not the root causes, bumps and dimples may reappear in the months after Endermologie treatments cease unless maintenance sessions are performed. The long-term results of this noninvasive treatment have not been established, but Endermologie has been used as a method of cellulite treatment, and users claim that it can also be used to soften burn scars and connective tissue. When Endermologie is used in order to treat the appearance of cellulite, it is often combined with liposuction to improve results. Because Endermologie is, in fact, able to improve the appearance of cellulite, its popularity continues to grow, and the treatment is now widely available, with many cosmetic surgeons offering the service in their clinics or offices. A series of 15 sessions would be a good start to achieve results. The first 6 treatments are suggested within a 2 week time period, than the rest of the treatments should be received twice a week until desired look is achieved. After the desired look is achieved, a once a month maintenance is sufficient for most individuals.If the factors causing the initial condition are not changed, the tissue will return to the state it was in before ENDERMOLOGIE. Regular exercise, a balanced diet and 1-2 ENDERMOLOGIE maintenance treatments per month are recommended to help keep the results achieved.
